Run the free test above, then get a personalized breakdown of what your download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter actually mean for streaming, gaming, video calls, and more.
Your Internet Performance Score turns four measured numbers from your speed test — download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter — into one 0–100 rating of how your connection is likely to hold up for everyday internet use. It’s a way to read your speed test result in context, not a replacement for the raw numbers themselves.
The score is a weighted average of four sub-scores calculated directly from your test — no estimates about your ISP plan, no guessing. Each metric is scored 0–100 against the published scale below, then combined by weight. If jitter can’t be measured, its 20% weight is redistributed proportionally across the other three metrics, and the report says so clearly.
| Metric | Weight | Score of 100 requires | Score near 0 means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Download speed | 40% | 500+ Mbps | Under 2 Mbps |
| Ping (latency) | 25% | 10 ms or less | 1000+ ms |
| Jitter | 20% | 1 ms or less | 100+ ms |
| Upload speed | 15% | 100+ Mbps | Under 1 Mbps |
